The UMMZ has specimens from Cohuila, Sierra de la Garcia pass, 4000’, 29–VII-1959; Durango, 3 miles East of Conejas, 25–VI–1958; Nuevo Leon, Monterey, 20– VI–1957, 5–IV–1957 and V–1953; Tamaulipas, Victoria, 30–V-1965; and Tamaulipas, Santa Teresa, 15–V– 1952. The EMEC has a specimen from Nuevo Leon, Vallecito, 2–5–VI–1951. The MTEC has a female from Nuevo Leon, Huasteca Canyon, 17–VI–1982. The author ( AFSC) has specimens from Tamaulipas, 18 miles south of Laredo, Texas, 17–VI–1965 and Tamaulipas, 80 miles NE of Ciudad Victoria, 13–VI–1965.
The species has been recorded previously only from southern Texas ( Metcalf 1963a). The new records expand the species distribution across northeastern Mexico.
