Remarks. Chrysis lanceolata is considered a Western South European and Anatolian species, that moved west recently to reach Italy and Sardinia (Rosa & Soon 2012). As a consequence the presence in Mallorca should be a recent introduction. On the contrary we found Ch. lanceolata in Portugal (Oliveira et al. 2010) and Northwest Spain. Fifty-four individuals were captured by the Malaise traps operated by the Salamanca University since 1993 in the followings sites: Embalse de Saucelle (SA), 2001, 1 ex.; Vilaverde del Monte (Burgos) 2003, 6 exx.; Mieza el Carrascal (SA) 2004, 1 ex.; Santa Maria de Sando (SA), 2003, 1 ex.; Paredes de Escalona (ZA) 1999, 20 exx.; Portaje (Coria), 9 exx., 1999; Viana de Cega (VA), 2 exx., 1993 (González et al. 1998); Salto de Saucelles (SA), 1 ex., 1998 (González et al. 2000); Villarino de los Aires (SA), 2 exx.
