Etymology: —referring to the holotype locality of species in Gelin village.

Holotype: — CHINA. Tibet Autonomous Region, Motuo County, Beibeng Country, Gelin village , saprobic on the bark of dead wood, 27 September 2021, Haixia Ma, FCATAS 4108 ( XZ108 ).

Description: —Saprobic on decaying branches of an unidentifed plant. Sexual morph: Stromata scattered on the host, base semi-immersed, erumpent through bark, perithecial necks visible above the substrate, grouped, circular or elongate, 0.65–1.2 mm high × 0.17–0.19 mm diam. ( x = 0.8 mm × 0.19 μm, n = 20), sometimes confluent, upper surface nearly flat; surface black. Endostroma consists of outer black, small, dense, and an inner layer of rosy buff, large. Perithecium immersed in stroma, globose to subglobose, 515–827 μm high × 311–716 μm diam. ( x = 680 × 445 μm, n = 30), with a neck, cylindrical. Peridium composed of outer layer of brown, thin-walled cells, inner layer of hyaline thin-walled cells. Ostioles opening separately, black, surrounded by a conspicuous red-brown petaloid layer. Paraphyses elongate, hyaline, filiform, unbranched, septate, guttulate. Asci 49–69.7 × 4.3–6.9 μm ( x = 57.6 × 5.7 μm, n = 50), 8-spored, unitunicate, clavate, long-stalked (19–40.8μm), with rounded apex. Ascospores 5.2–11.4 × 1.7–2.5 μm ( x = 8.2 × 2.1 μm, n = 50), overlapping, allantoid, aseptate, moderately to extremely curved, subhyaline to buff, smooth-walled. Asexual morph: Undetermined.
