Description in Hodkinson & White (1979a) and Ossiannilsson (1992). Biology in Ossiannilsson (1992) and Conci et al. (1993). Host-plants: Alnus incana (L.) Moench and A. glutinosa (L.) Gaertn. ( Betulaceae ).
