( Fig. 21d View FIGURE 21 )
Material examined. (3 juvenile shells in the same sample): SPAIN • 3 sh (juv); 42° 30.391′N, 009° 19.517′W GoogleMaps to 42° 29.428′N, 009° 17.924′W; 147–148 m; 17–28 SeP. 2004; VERTIDOS AG-EBS-150.
Remarks. This species is known in northeastern Atlantic from the English Channel to Morocco, in sublittoral rocky bottoms ( Gofas & Oliver 2011). It is common in Azores, Madeira and Canary Islands and it has been only recorded in the seamounts whose summit is shallower (Gorringe and Ampere) ( Gofas 1990, 2007; Ávila & Malaquias 2003; Cordeiro & Ávila 2015). Only three juvenile shells have been found (from a single sample obtained at a depth of 150 m), one of them very eroded.
