(Rongpo, Jorethang), Tamil Nadu,Telangana (Hyderabad), Uttar Pradesh (Allahabad, Balia, Sultanpur, Shahjahanpur,
Surha–Tal Wildlife Sanctuary, Sandi Bird Sanctuary), and West Bengal.
Global distribution: India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Sri Lanka.
