(Chilika Lake), Tamil Nadu, Tripura (Rudrasagar, Lambuchara, Amarpur), Puducherry (Karaikal), and West Bengal
(Alipurduar, Kolkata, Sunderban Biosphere Reserve, Sagar Island, Bhibhutibhusan Wildlife Sanctuary, Buxa Tiger
Reserve).
Global distribution: Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Nepal, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and
Vietnam.
