Type locality: Sri Lanka ( Jia & Zhang 2017) .

Distribution in India: The precise locality of this species within India remains uncertain based on available literature. Hansen (1999a) mentioned its presence in India, followed by subsequent report by Jia & Zhang (2017) from India.

Global distribution: China, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
