Distribution. This is a Palaearctic species ranging from Spain to Kazakhstan. A complete distribution is presented in BATELKA (2008a). Until now, only a single specimen of the species was known from Turkey, and its occurrence in Corse was only reported by SCHAEFER (1964). The species is recorded here from Iran for the first time.
