Distribution: AF: Angola, Cape Verde Is., Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Oman, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, United Arab Emirates, Yemen (including Socotra). AU: Guam, Hawaiian Is. OR: India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam. PA: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bulgaria, Canary Is., Egypt, Greece, Israel, Italy.
Egyptian localities: Eastern Desert: Safaga, Port Said. Gebel Elba: Halayeb. Lower Nile Valley & Delta: Mansheiet Radwan. Sinai: Bir Tmade, Dahab, Ein Qsaib, El-Arish, Qusayema, Abbas Mt., Ras Burka, Sharm El- Shaikh, St. Catherine, Wadi Firan, Wadi Gedeirat, Wadi Tlah, Wadi Watir (Mathis & Zatwarnicki, 1993: 73). Western Desert: Saqqara, Siwa Oasis, Wadi El-Natroun.
Dates of collection: March to October.
