H. myrtifolium : It is mostly known from the center and south Anatolia Uşak, Afyon, Ankara, Adana, Sivas, Denizli,

İçel, Hatay and it is IT element ( Fig. 1 ). It grows at an altitude between 750 and 2150 m in rocky limestone or igneous slopes with species such as: Alyssum pateri Nyar. subsp. pateri , A. strigosum Banks & Sol. subsp. cedrorum (Schott & Kotschy) Dudley , Arenaria serpyllifolia L., Asperula arvensis L., Conringia perfoliata (C.A.Mey.) Busch , Helianthemum salicifolium (L.) Mill., Linum nodiflorum L., Myosotis refrecta Boiss. subsp. refrecta , Nepeta congesta Fisch. & Mey. var. congesta , Onosma lycaonicum Hub. -Mor., Ornithogalum ulophyllum Hand. -Mazz., Ranunculus argyreus Boiss. , Scorzonera pseodolanata Grossh. and Viola occulta Lehm.

H. megalanthum : It is only known from two locations in western Anatolia İzmir and Yamanlar Mountain (İzmir) ( Fig. 1 ) and it is a East Medit. element. It grows at an altitude of between 400 and 1000 m in dry scrub slopes and limestone slopes and near pine woods, near with species such as: Centaurea cyanus L., Cerastium anomalum Waldst. & Kit. , Crucianella angustifolia L., Ornithogalum umbellatum L., Salvia argentea L., Silene italica (L.) Pers., Thymus zygioides Griseb. var. lycaonicus (Celak.) Ronniger , Vaccaria pyramidata Medik. var. grandiflora (Fisch. ex DC.) Cullen. and Velezia quadridentata Sibth. & Sm.

Flowering time of the species has been reported as May to June ( Townsend 1967; 1986). Our field studies pointed out that the species flowers from at April to July.
