FEMALE
Gnathosoma. Anterior margin of epistome with three denticulate projections. Seta h1 markedly longer than h2, h3 and pc setae. Inner palp trochanter seta elongate. Deutosternum with delimiting lateral lines and seven rows of denticles. Cheliceral digits of similar lengths; fixed digit with ten minute subterminal teeth in addition to apical tooth and a deep subapical pocket to receive apex of movable digit; movable digit with two teeth in addition to apical tooth.
Idiosoma. Ovoid. Dorsum: dorsal shield ornamented, without lateral incisions at region of fusion or delineated strip along lateral margins; anterior end of dorsal shield not strongly deflexed; posterior end attenuate. No supernumerary setae on dorsal shield. Podonotal region of shield with 17 pairs of setae, including r3, which is similar to neighbouring setae. Opisthonotal region of shield with five pairs of setae. Unsclerotised lateral cuticle with four pairs of setae. Dorsal and lateral setae of idiosoma of variable lengths, acicular and smooth (except J5, spiculate). Ve n t e r: presternal platelets indistinct. Sternal shield with three pairs of setae of similar lengths (st1–st3); st2 about equidistant to st1 and st3; posterior shield margin undulate. Third pair of sternal lyrifissures (iv3) and st4 inserted on unsclerotised cuticle. Genital shield not large enough to include iv5, but including st5; slightly convex posteriorly. Metapodal plates absent. A pair of platelets between genital and anal shields. Opisthogaster with five pairs of setae on unsclerotised cuticle, in addition to circumanal setae; anal shield rounded anterolaterally and about truncate posteriorly; para-anal setae inserted between levels of posterior margin and mid-length of anal opening, much longer than post-anal seta. Anal opening not enlarged, about 1/4 of shield length, anterior to shield centre. Anterior section of endopodal shield fused with sternal shield; section behind sternal shield reduced to an elongate platelet between coxae III–IV. Exopodal shield a continuous strip along coxae II–IV.
Peritreme. Extending from stigma almost to level of j2. Peritrematic shield well developed, broadly fused with dorsal shield at level of r3 and with exopodal shield beside coxa IV.
Legs. Median section of pulvilli of legs II–IV slender, ending bluntly; paradactyli of these legs also elongate and blunt. Genu II and tibia II with nine setae each. With two partially flattened setae on tarsi II–III and one on tarsus IV; with spine-shaped setae on tarsi II–IV.
Spermathecal apparatus. Phytoseiid-type.
MALE
Spermatodactyl apparently longer than movable digit. Dorsal shield ornamentation similar to female. Sternogenital shield bearing four pairs of setae (st1–st3, st5; st4 absent). With spine-shaped setae on tarsus II.
