Material examined. One specimen, observed and photograph taken but not collected, about 5 km east of Maninjau, elev. 950 m.
Taxonomic comments. The specimen shows a very distinct dorsal pattern including the light vertebral line and the dark spot in region of sacrum. Sides of body are blackish brown. Tips of fingers and toes are slightly enlarged.
Distribution on Sumatra. Known from all provinces on Sumatra but not from Mentawai Archipelago.
Biology. This adult specimen was observed at day time in August, under a stone bordering a track, in a pine montain forest. The only water body nearby was a small rivulet.
