REMARKS This monospecific genus has a wide disjunct distribution across tropical African savannas ( Monadjem et al. 2015) and can be locally abundant. In West Africa it has been recorded from Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, and Sierra Leone ( Grubb et al. 1998).
