Specimens examined. HOLOTYPE: male ( NSMT), INDONESIA /Noongan/50 Km S. of/Menado 1200m / 2–10 Dec. 1973 . PARATYPES: 1 female ( BLKU) , 2 males, INDONESIA /Noongan/50 Km S. of/Menado 1200m / 2–10 Dec. 1973 .
Additional specimens: China (Xishuangbanna, Yunnan), H. Shima leg.: 1 male ( BLKU), Menglun , 500–700 m, 6–9.viii.1990; 1 male ( BLKU), Mengyang 950 m, 6.x.1989; 1 female ( BLKU), Mengla , 700–1000 m, 3–5.viii.1990. Indonesia: 1 male ( BLKU), Lurah Berangin, Pasaman WEST SUMATERA, 4.vii.1990, K. Hara leg. Taiwan (Chunyang, Nantou), C. S. Lin & W. T. Yang leg.: 1 male ( NMNS), 25–27.v.1993, UV light; 1 female ( NMNS), 10.xii.2002 – 7.i. 2003, Malaise trap ( KCN). Vietnam, H. Kurahashi leg.: 1 male ( BLKU), Son La Prov., nr Moc Chau Truong Yen 900 m, 19–21.vi.1997; 1 female ( BLKU), Lao Cai Prov., nr Sapa Deo Tram Ton 1950 m, 31.v.1999 .
Diagnosis. Body length: 5.23–5.70 mm. Vertex 0.19–0.25 of head width in male, 0.25–0.31 in female; antenna with postpedicel 2.8–4.0 times as long as pedicel in male, 2.8–3.4 times in female; 3 katepisternal setae; male abdominal tergite 5 with dense recumbent hairs dorsally; male postabdomen with surstylus short and rounded apically with some setae in lateral view, tapering and curved inward with some setae in dorsal view; cerci tapering in dorsal view; pregonite rounded apically; female with elongate intersegmental membrane of segments 5, 6 and sternite 6.
Distribution. China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam.
Remarks. This species is newly recorded from China (Yunnan), Taiwan, and Vietnam.
