Diagnosis.—Embedded from Tilbrook (2006): Colony encrusting or erect, foliaceous, or vincularian from an encrusting base. Autozooecia with well−developed cryptocyst and no spines. Opesia usually very large. Gymnocyst not developed. Ovicell unknown. Avicularia lacking.
