Material examined. 3 females from Sayornis phoebe (Latham, 1790) ( Passeriformes : Tyrannidae ), (SM 2581), CANADA, Manitoba, 11 July 2013, coll. T.D. Galloway and E.N. McNally.
This species is known only from the Eastern Phoebe, S. phoebe , and was formerly recorded in Texas, USA
( Valim & Hernandes, 2008, 2010). In Canada, this mite is recorded for the first time.
