Distribution. Argentina ( Young 1977): Misiones ( Remes Lenicov et al. 1999), Entre Ríos ( Dellapé et al. 2016). New records: Jujuy (Ledesma, Yuto), Salta (A. Juarez, Urundel, Yatasto), Tucumán (Lules), Formosa (Misión Laishí), Corrientes (Mburucuyá, Bella Vista), Santa Fé (Guadalupe), La Rioja (Vichigasta), San Luis (Papagayos).
Associated plants. Citrus sinensis (L.) Osb. ( Remes Lenicov et al. 1999), Citrus reticulata Hort. Ex Tan x (Citrus Paradise Macf. X Citrus tangerine Hort. Ex Tan.) ( Dellapé et al. 2016), Coffea arabica L. ( Carvalho et al. 2015). New records: Olea europaea L. var Arauco “olive”.
Biological data. M. sobrina is recorded in low numbers on Citrus sinensis (L.) Osb. orchards located in Entre Ríos province ( Dellapé et al. 2016).
