Distribution. Argentina ( Young 1977): Tucumán, Chaco, Santa Fé, Misiones ( Remes Lenicov et al. 1999), Entre Ríos ( Dellapé et al. 2016). New records: Formosa (Misión Lashí), Jujuy (Termas de Reyes, Yuto), Salta (Orán, Tartagal, Yatasto), Corrientes (Bella Vista, San Roque).

Associated plants. Citrus sinensis (L.) Osb. and spontaneous surrounding vegetation ( Remes Lenicov et al. 1999).

Biological data. In Misiones and Entre Ríos, D. bimaculata was collected on citrus and its associated vegetation throughout the year ( Remes Lenicov et al. 1999; Dellapé et al. 2016).
