Diagnosis: Test brown in colour; dorsal view slightly oval; aperture slightly oval in shape; aperture bordered by a thin lip; shell surface irregular with several pores; diameter of the test 54-62 µm; aperture diameter 18-22 µm.

Distribution in India: Tamil Nadu (present record). This forms new record for India.
