Diagnosis: Test typically oblong with circular base; composed of big angular quartz crystals; pseudostome circular; dimension of test 90-115µm.

Distribution in India: Assam, Himachal Pradesh,

Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal.
