Acrophyma bicallosa: Rolston and Kumar, 1975: 271 View in CoL .
Diagnosis: General body shape ovate. Head slightly wider than long. Paraclypei with apices rounded, slightly pointed. Pronotum deltoid with stronger and denser punctures towards anterior margin. Scutellum isosceles shaped, with strongly evenly distributed punctures. Posterolateral margin of pygophore pointed. Hemelytra covering connexiva. Lateral margins of the 7 th sternum and gonocoxae in females are not truncate.
Revised distribution: Colombia, Bogotá, type locality, and in addition, we examined the first specimens from Panamá:
Material examined: Colombia, Bogota (withouth additional data), 1♂ Holotype ( SMNH). Panamá. Boca de Cupé rest, illegible 1♂, 1♀ ( DARC).
