Diagnosis. The new species in unique for the shape of the titillators that have the central curvature not U-shaped but nearly right-angled and the granular extension on top of that curvature laterally inflated and interrupted by a trough, while in all other species of the genus the central area of the titillators have a narrow U- or V-shaped curvature and the granular extension laterally compressed. The male cerci have the apical margin of the dorso-apical lobe flattened with the internal proximal angle moderately projecting but not separated from the remainder of the apical margin nor otherwise modified as in most other species of the genus except for R. nigropunctata sp. n., which differs however by differently shaped titillators and strikingly different coloration.

Description. Fastigium verticis before eyes 2.5 mm; fastigium verticis from base 3.0 mm; dorsal eye length 1.9 mm; greatest diameter of eye 1.8 mm; fastigium verticis up-curved, with tubercle at [dorsal] base; laterally compressed, apex faintly hooked.

Male. Stridulatory file sinuate, 2.7–3.0 mm long; teeth not very dense, wider than in the other species and mostly brown, at apex dense; with 90–105 teeth, in middle of file with 27.6–29.5 teeth per mm ( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 B–C). Mirror on elevated disc; anterior and external margins curved, posterior margin angular; 1.3–1.5 mm long 1.9 mm wide ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 M–N). Titillators stout-elongate at base, then forming an S-curve and afterwards straight to tip. From between middle of the S to more than half of the straight area with a huge, sub-sclerotized granular extension that is laterally inflated and covered by fine denticles, behind mid length it is interrupted by a deep transverse furrow and raised again in apical quarter; this structure is followed by a rather short stout trunk that little narrows in middle and widens again to rounded apical area, which is covered by robust black teeth ( Figs. 8 View FIGURE 8 E–F, 9F, 10I–J). In apical area, at dorso-proximal side, there is a narrow, compressed, sub-angular, elongate apical sclerite that is little surpassing the widened tip of the main titillator branch ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ). The apico-lateral sclerites are rather large, roughly oval but little curved.

Coloration. Head, pronotum and legs reddish brown with black ornaments ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 H–I). Face dark red brown, antennal scrobae, scapus and pedicellus black, flagellum orange or yellow; sub-ocular carina red brown or darkened, mandibles, labrum and upper part of clypeus medium red brown, lower part of clypeus green, palpi yellowish ( Fig. 2N View FIGURE 2 ); Vertex red brown, dorsal surface of fastigium verticis black with light tip. Pronotum red brown. Abdominal tergites yellowish to orange brown along midline with black hind margin and dark brown to black lateral bands. Meso- and metasternum black; abdominal sternites yellow or brown. Tegmen yellow with few scattered black dots ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 M–N). Legs medium reddish brown; coxa and trochanter of all legs dark brown or black, anterior and median femur with black transverse strokes (in holotype little distinct), hind femur for almost basal half dark reddish brown (in holotype) or black. Projections of male tenth abdominal tergite and cerci orange yellow. Male subgenital plate black except at very base; styli black with yellow tip.

Measurements (2 males).—Body: 39–42; pronotum: 12.5; tegmen: 6.0–6.5; hind femur: 24.5–25.0; anterior femur: 13.0– 13.5 mm.

Etymology. Named for the shape of the male titillators that in lateral view resemble the shape of a two-humped camel; from Latin camela female camel, noun in apposition.
