Discussion. In Shiraki’s (1930) view, this species belongs to Stonychophora fulva ( Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1888) . Rhaphidophora chopardi Karny, 1924 , according to Karny’s (1924) key to species of Rhaphidophora , may be near to R. deusta Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1888 . This species is distinguished from R. fulva by the simple abdominal tergites of male, from R. chopardi by cylindrical styli and serrated ventral valves of the ovipositor, and from R. deusta by the pointed apex of the female subgenital plate.
