Type species: Sinorhaphidophora hainanensis ( Bian & Shi, 2016) comb. nov., here designated.
Generic diagnosis. Body medium sized. The vertex of head divided into two flat processes separated by a deep furrow. Internal genicular lobe of fore femur, internal and external genicular lobes of mid femur all with 1 elongate movable spur. Fore tibiae above without spurs, beneath with 2 apical spurs; mid tibiae beneath and above both with spurs, also with 2 pair apical spurs (one pair dorsally, another pair ventrally); hind tibiae above with 2 rows of spines, arrange sparsely. Tarsi compressed. Hind metatarsi above with several small spines. 5 th abdominal tergite with a small process, 6 th abdominal tergite with a large process.
