Polystichum montevidense (Spreng.) Rosenst. Vernacular name: “Helecho macho”, “Ala de cuervo”. Syn.: Polypodium montevidense Spreng. Life form: Geophyte. Collected in: cerca del Pie de la Cuesta más arriba de Vallecito. 2500 m. Prepuna. Status: Native. Vouchers: Hieronymus & Niederlein 733 (CORD).
