Material. One specimen found in mosses from Gosu-ri, Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, September 22, 2013. Milne (1916) described this species from the Republic of South Africa ( Milne 1916). This species was subsequently reported from Namibia ( Koste 1996a), Madagascar ( Koste 1996b), and New Zealand ( Haigh 1965). In the present study, we discovered it in Korea.
This species is easily distinguishable by the morphologies of the corona and spurs. The corona is much wider than the collar width, and twice as wide as the width of a pseudosegment carrying an antenna. The spurs are conical with round ends, approximately half as long as the width of the spur pseudosegment, and with the interspace slightly narrower than the spur base width.
Measurements. Corona width 71 µm. Collar width 53 µm. Spur length 10 µm.
