6. Lasianthus chartaceus Craib (1933:20) . Type : ― THAILAND. Phuket, 31 July 1929, Rabil Bunnag 267 (holotype K000777037!; isotypes BK257384!, E00327856 image!).

T hailand: ―PENINSULAR. Nakhon Si Thammarat: without exact locality, Kiah 24402 (BK, K).

Distribution: ―Endemic to Thailand (Peninsular).

Ecology: ―Evergreen forest in peninsular Thailand at an elevation of 100‒ 400 m.

Note: ― Lasianthus chartaceous is accepted in the World Checklisted of Selected Plant Families (http://wcsp. science.kew.org/). We maintain this species among the Thai Lasianthus based on the type and original description that clearly differentiates it from all other Thai species of the genus. We have not found it during our field work.
