Distribution: —Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand (South-Eastern, Peninsular).
Ecology: —Moist evergreen forest, in shaded places at an elevation of 300‒ 600 m. Flowering in June‒July and fruiting in August‒November.
Notes: ― Lasianthus foxworthyanus is often found in natural forests of peninsular Thailand. The dominant characters of this species that can be observed in the field are leaf blades oblong-lanceolate 9–16 × 3–5 cm, thinly coriaceous, fruits glabrous and subglobose when fresh, black or dark blue, puberulous, and with 4 pyrenes.
