18. Lasianthus flavihirtus Zhu (2002:575) View in CoL . Type: ― THAILAND. Phangnga, Khao Phorta Luang Keaw , 2 May 1973, R. Geesink & T. Santisuk 5141 (holotype L n.v.; isotype AAU!).

T hailand: ―Known only from the type collection.

Distribution: ―Endemic to Thailand (Peninsular).

Ecology: ―Moist evergreen forest at an elevation of 1100‒1300 m. Flowering and fruiting in April‒May.

Notes: ― Lasianthus flavihirtus is similar to L. formosensis Mutsumura (1901:17) but differs by having: flavi-hirsute branches, branchlets, midrib and abaxial leaf surface (not pubescent); calyx campanulate with hirsute, 2 mm long hairs (not calyx campanulate, villous, 3‒4 mm long hairs); fresh fruits orange (not blue); drupes globose, hirsute (not ovoid to globose, subglabrous).
