Notes: ― Lasianthus sarmentosus can easily be recognized in the field by its mature fresh fruits that are pale-green which separates it from others species which mostly have blue fruits. However, it is similar to L. fordii from which it differs by having leaf blades membranaceous (not chartaceous or subcoriaceous), 3‒4 (not 4‒6) pairs of lateral veins, drupes that are globose and glabrous, 8‒10 (not 5‒6) mm diameter, and. with 3‒4 (not 5‒6) pyrenes.
