65b. Lasianthus trichophlebus var. latifolius (Miquel) Zhu (2002: 93) View in CoL .— Lasianthus sylvestris Blume var. latifolius Miquel (1869:248) . Type (lectotype designated by Zhu 2012):― INDONESIA. Java, Papandajang, P. W. Korthals s.n. (lectotype L0305397 image!).

T hailand: ―SOUTH-WESTERN. Prachuap Khiri Khan: Kaeng Kra Chan National Park, 4 August 1995, K. Larsen et al. 45393 (AAU, BKF, PSU). PENINSULAR. Chumphon: Northern Sadejnaikrom Kromlaung Chumphon Wildlife Sanctuary, 17 June 2015, Napiroon T. & Vajrodaya S. 024 (BKF).

Distribution: ― China (Hainan, Taiwan), Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Indonesia (Java, Sumatra), Philippines, Thailand (South-Western).

Ecology: ―Evergreen forest, sometime on metamorphic or limestone bedrock along streams at an elevation of 200‒ 300 m. Flowering and fruiting in July‒August.

Notes: ―This species is similar to L. tomentosus but differs by having densely hirsute (not tomentose) branches, branchlets, veins, conspicuously strigose linear-lanceolate stipules, and drupes that are hirsute and verrucose (not tomentose), hirsute with 4 (not 5) pyrenes.
