Distribution: — India (Andaman and Nicobar Islands), South China, South Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Indonesia (Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Lesser Sunda Islands), Philippines (Palawan, Mindoro), Thailand (Peninsular).
Ecology: —Dry evergreen forest and moist evergreen forest in shaded places at an elevation of 200‒ 400 m. Fruiting in February.
