T hailand: —PENINSULAR. Songkhla: Ton Nga Chang Wildlife Sanctuary, 21 August 1992, C. Niyomdham & P. Puudjaa 3091 (BKF).

Distribution: — Myanmar, Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand (Peninsular).

Ecology: —Moist evergreen forest at an elevation of 300‒ 400 m. Flowering in July-August.

Notes: — Lasianthus subaureus differs from other species by having leaf blades oblong-lanceolate, 17‒18 × 3‒4 cm, apex acute or acuminate, base slightly oblique, lateral veins 11‒12 pairs, petioles 1 1.5 cm long, calyx tubular 2 mm long, corolla tube up to 12 mm long and 5‒6 lobed, drupes globose or subglobose, pubescent with 5‒6 pyrenes.
