T hailand: ―PENINSULAR. Phang-nga: Khao Lak-Lamru National Park, 21 August 1999, C. Puff 990821-1/6 (WU).
Distribution: ―Endemic to Peninsular Thailand.
Ecology:― Evergreen forest at an elevation of 900‒1000 m.
Note: ― Lasianthus krabiensis is morphologically close to L. lancilobus , a Malesian species, but differs by having the abaxial leaf surface sparely hirsute (not glabrous), the peduncle 1–1.5 cm (not 2.5–3 mm) long, the pedicels short, 1 mm or less than 1 mm long (not 3 mm long).
