Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand (Peninsular), Vietnam.

Ecology; ― Moist evergreen forest at an elevation of 50‒200 m. Flowering in May‒July , fruiting August‒ September .

Notes: ― Lasianthus longipedunculaus is distinct from other species in having peduncles that are 4‒10 cm long which is the longest among Thai Lasianthus . In addition, it has glabrous branches, branchlets and leaves, linear-lanceolate bracts that are 8‒12 mm long and it has veins on the bracts which are leaf-like, the calyx tube is 2‒3 mm long, with 4 calyx lobes, the corolla tube is usually 9‒10 mm long, glabrous on the outside and pilose on the, inside, the drupes are ellipsoid, 1‒1.5 cm long, and they each have 4 pyrenes.
