42. Lasianthus parviflorus Zhu (2001:137) View in CoL . Type: ― THAILAND. Krabi, Khlong Thom, Bang Kram forest , 14 July 1992, K. Larsen et al. 43377 (holotype AAU!; isotypes BKF!, PSU!).
T hailand: ―Only known from the type collection.
Distribution: ―Endemic to Thailand (Peninsular).
Ecology: ―Moist evergreen forest, in shaded places at elevations of 75‒ 100 m.
Notes: ―This species is similar to L. rabilii but differs by having densely hirsute branches and branchlets (not glabrous or subglabrous), obovate-rhombic leaves (not oblong-lanceolate or elliptic-oblanceolate), calyx shortly obconical (not obconical), calyx tube 0.3‒0.5 (not 0.7–1) mm long, calyx lobes deeply triangular to base and unfolded, star-like (not triangular), 1.5‒1.7 (not 1.5) mm long, hirsute (not pubescent), drupes ellipsoid (not globose or subglobose), 5 (not 2.5–3) mm diameter, pubescent (not subglabrous), pyrenes 4 (not 5).
