Genus Cunaxatricha gen. nov.
Type species: Cunaxatricha tarsospinosa sp.nov.
This genus can be distinguished from other genera by the following set of characteristics: trichobothrium on tibiae IV lacking; apophyses on palps lacking; hg4 seta is not placed on the coxal region, but between hg2 and hg3; distal anteroventral spine-like setae on tarsi I and II; peg organ (peo) on tarsi I clearly present in the immature stages and adults set in a deep depression; tarsal lobes not prominent; femur I and II not completely divided into basifemur and telofemur; triplex setae occur on genu I; genital setae placed in straight line; genital papillae not visible, perhaps poorly developed; dorsal shield finely reticulated; hysterosomal shield absent in females but present in males.
