Diagnosis: Median-sized, delicate cosmetids with long and unarmed legs ( Fig. 50C View Figure 50 ). Area III of mesotergum armed with two spines in females ( Figs 52C View Figure 52 , 59B View Figure 59 ), males of Roquettea may have modifications in abdomen and carapace, never yellow-coloured. Roquettea and Gryne have major and minor forms of males. Area I with small tubercles or unarmed ( Figs 50B View Figure 50 , 59B View Figure 59 ). Other areas unarmed. Dorsal scutum (DS) beta-type, with small coda and abdomen covering entirely the coxa IV in dorsal view ( Fig. 54A View Figure 54 ). Chelicerae monomorphic without basal spine in movable finger ( Fig. 58E View Figure 58 ). Yellowish spots (if present) mostly as small dots or reticulate patterns covering mostly lateral margins of DS, sometimes occupying mesotergum ( Figs 54A View Figure 54 , 59A View Figure 59 ). Legs III–IV with pectinate claws forming two rows ( Fig. 55E View Figure 55 ). Basitarsomeres slightly enlarged in males, but not inflated. Five or six tarsomeres in leg I. VP rectangular with lateral margins sub-parallel ( Fig. 55A View Figure 55 ) (a modification exists in the core group of Gryne that have an inverted trapezium shape with base larger, Fig. 51A View Figure 51 ). Three pairs of MS-C and two pairs of long MS-A ( Fig. 55A–C View Figure 55 ).
