Remarks. MolluscaBase (2021a) currently considers Aclis dalli Bartsch, 1911 , from Cuba, ( Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 ) as a junior synonym of A. sarissa , but there is no reference to the publication in which such synonymy is discussed. These species resemble each other by the convexity of teleoconch whorls and by the slightly oval aperture. However, A. sarissa is considerably shorter, narrower and with a wider apex than A. dalli , which should be considered as a valid species.
