The specimen from Surat Thani Province was observed on Alstonia scholaris R. Br. ( Apocynaceae ) (new plant association) and the specimens from the other localities were collected from unknown plants in the families Meliaceae and Sapindaceae . Kanchanaburi Province represents the northernmost limit of the distribution for this species so far. As it is distributed along the Tenasserim range, the species might also be present in Myanmar.
