Pronotum rather short and high. Male 10th abdominal tergite hind margin with a median notch forming a pair of rounded lobes; cerci with long and narrow apex, upper media process bifurcated, lower media process densely denticulate; genitalia with a pair of wide and curved sclerites (titillators). Female subgenital plate is wide and truncated.

Description. Male. Pronotum short and wide with hind margin rounded ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ). Tegmina reaches the last segment of the abdomen, with venation reticulate and clear, apex narrow and rounded. 10th abdominal tergite transverse, with hind margin middle deeply notched forming 2 lobes ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ). Cerci ramose, base compressed; upper medial process bifurcated, lower medial process long, apex densely denticulate; infra part simple sinuous, distal part straight and tapered ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ). Subgenital plate apex narrower, hind margin median notched, lobes subacute.
Female. Subgenital plate transverse, hind margin subacute. Ovipositor short, apical part tapered, slightly upcurved, ventral valve with weak apical hook.
Coloration. Pale reddish. Eyes brown, base pale; antennae with pale rings and black spots.
Measurement. (length in mm) Body: ♂9.0, ♀10.0; pronotum: ♂3.2, ♀3.5; tegmina: ♂♀5.0; hind femora: ♂7.5, ♀8.0; ovipositor: ♀5.5.
Distribution. India (Kodaikanal).

Description. Male. Body larger. Pronotum short and lateral lobe lower, hind margin rounded. Tegmina reaches the last segment of abdomen, with venation reticulate and clear, apex truncate. 10th abdominal tergite short and transverse, with hind margin middle concave ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 3 – 8 ). Cerci ramose, with upper bifurcated and lower denticulate processes, middle branched into two long sinuous and tapered large spines ( Figs. 3–7 View FIGURES 3 – 8 ). Subgenital plate base widen, hind margin truncated and middle little notched, styli short.
Female unknown.
Coloration. Brownish. Antennae pale with brownish rings.
Measurement. (length in mm) Body: ♂11.0; pronotum: ♂3.8; tegmina: ♂6.5; hind femora: ♂8.0.
Discussion. This species is similar to the type species, but distinguishes by a larger body, short 10th abdominal tergite slightly notched, apical half deep branched cerci.
Distribution. India (Madura).
