Diagnosis: Body size varies between 4.2- 5.0 mm, body oval, dorsally convex, shiny, black in colour. Antennal club, Head, pronotum and elytra with almost same punctuation. Prosternum pointed medially, Mesofemora densely pubescent except at extreme apex, Aedeagus broad with median lobe, widely trilobite at apex, parameres angulate at midlength, longer, narrower than median lobe, strongly bent outwards medially, curved on outer face sub apically.
Distribution: India: Andaman Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and Telangana; Elsewhere: Bhutan, China ( Hong Kong, Yunnan), Indonesia (Sumatra, Sunda), Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Mascarene Island, Oman, Saudi Arabia (south), South Africa, Yemen.
