Tachytes panzeri is recorded from the Afrotropical ( Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia), Oriental and Palaearctic (e.g. Bahrein, Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen) regions. The record from Eritrea is not mentioned in PULAWSKI (2007: 473).
