Identification guide: Veron (2000)
Notes for local identification: Two forms exist; one with thinner light brown branches and another with thicker and darker branches. The hoods fade toward the tips of branches where the septae reach the prominent style shaped columellae.
Abundance: Common.
Depth of occurrence: 2 to 5 m.
