Distribution. Holarctic ( Caldara 2011)
Material examined. Zhytomyr Prov.: 2 spec. ( SIZK) Polisskyi Nature Reserve , Selezivka env., near HQ , left bank of Bolotnitsa River , on grass, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 14.vi.2012 .
Biology. Marshes. Adults occur in VI–IX. Polyphagous on semiaquatic monocots: Sparganium ramosum , Typha spp. ( Typhaceae ),? Carex gracilis (Cyperaceae) ( Dieckmann 1986; Anderson1997).
