Notes. Historical records of Minyops variolosus (Fabricius 1775) from Ukraine ( Chernay 1854; Łomnicki 1875; 1884, Cherkunov 1889: 193; Meregalli 2004 f) are remaining unclear, on the other hand that specis was considered a junior synonym of M. carinatus ( Daniel 1908; Burakowski et al. 1995). According to the recent revision ( Osella & Bellò 2009) M. costalis is distributed in Ukraine. We suggest that M. costalis occurs only in north and central provinces, while M. minutus minutus Boh. is restricted to south provinces of Ukraine. Since the most of historical records are based on misidentifications and non-applicable they were rejected in this paper.
