Distribution. Central and East Carpathians, Slovenia.
Material examined. Zakarpatska Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Rakhiv Distr. , Yasynia, Lazeshchina River, 800 m, V. A. Zaslavskii leg., 04.vi.1958 ; 3 m, 1 f ( ZIN) idem, 800–1000 m, 15.vi.1958 .
Biology. Montane deciduous and mixed forests. Adults occur in V–VI. Polyphagous on herbaceous plants, feeds mostly on Symphytum cordatum (Smreczyński, 1968) .
Notes. Sometimes considered as a subspecies of G. triguttatus .
