Distribution. SE Europe, Eastern Caucasus, Kazakhstan.
Material examined. Kharkiv Prov.: 1 f ( KUMN) Zmiiv Distr., Konstantovka [= Konstantinovka], Donets- Zakharzhevsky leg.
Biology. Lowland and montane steppes. Adults occur in V–VII. Polyphagous on herbs.
Note. Described from Crimea (Tauria). Absence of new finds since middle 19 century suggests its extinction in Ukraine.
