Biology. Floodland meadows, agricultural and ruderal habitats. Adults occur in III–IX. On Asteraceae : Carduus acanthoides ( Penecke 1928) ; C. crispus , C. nutans , Cirsium arvense ( Hoffmann 1954; Smreczyński 1974); Onopordum acanthium ( Hoffmann 1954; Dieckmann 1972b; Smreczyński 1974; Angelov 1979); Cirsium vulgare ( Smreczyński 1974) ; Carduus thoermeri ( Dedyukhin 2012) ; Centaurea solstitialis (occasionally) ( Colonnelli 2004a).
